Job Summary:

KBR is seeking a seasoned Principal Specialist in Information Management to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior-level information management roles, a deep understanding of low-code development platforms, traditional programming languages, dashboard design and implementation, and database structures and relations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of leading complex information management projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead and manage the information management strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Low-Code Development: Utilize low-code development platforms to design, build, and implement applications that meet business needs efficiently and effectively.
  • Programming Languages: Oversee and guide traditional development projects using programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Dashboard Design: Design and implement interactive dashboards and reporting solutions that provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Database Management: Design, implement, and manage database structures, ensuring data integrity, security, and optimal performance.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex information management projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously seeking opportunities to improve information management processes and systems.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 11 years of experience in information management, with a focus on both low-code development and traditional programming, dashboard design, and database management.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in low-code development platforms (e.g., Nintex, Power Automate).
  • Strong experience in programming languages (e.g., VB, C#, Python).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • In-depth understanding of database structures, relationships, and management (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, with excellent project management skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
