Job Description:
The Oracle CPQ Sr. Staff Engineer, Enterprise Applications, is responsible for the hands-on design, development, and maintenance of large-scale and complex Oracle CPQ-specific functions. The role requires supporting integrated enterprise-level applications inclusive of ERP (SAP) and CRMs (Salesforce) systems, business processes, and close collaboration with business stakeholders and team members to translate requirements into technical solutions directly driven by and/or related to Oracle CPQ. This role may lead technical aspects of projects and mentor junior developers and administrators ensuring the quality, scalability, and performance of critical Sales, Product, and Finance/Accounting specific business systems. The role will expertly perform complex solution development and implementations, requirements gathering, testing strategy, production support, documentation, and enhancement while leveraging key Oracle CPQ-specific components such as Document Designer, BML, Commerce Process Design (pricing, discounting approvals), advanced configuration rules, data tables, BMQL, Util Functions, UI customization, and complex approval rules. The successful candidate will need to be demonstrably adept at leveraging JavaScript, REST & SOAP web services, XML & JSON directly in Oracle CPQ to meet advanced business needs.
