Job Summary:

We are looking for professional and personable catering staff to assist with food and beverage service at a wedding. Primary duties include hand-pouring drinks and serving hors d’oeuvres to guests during the event, while maintaining a high level of service and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Hand-pour wine, champagne, and other beverages for guests during cocktail hour and dinner service
• Circulate with trays of hors d’oeuvres and serve to guests in a friendly and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized service area at all times
• Refill drinks and replenish trays as needed
• Provide basic information about menu items and be mindful of guest dietary needs or allergies
• Follow instructions from the catering manager or event coordinator
• Ensure a high standard of professionalism, appearance, and guest service
• Assist with setup and cleanup as needed before and after the event

Requirements:

• Prior experience in catering, hospitality, or food service preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to carry trays and stand/walk for extended periods
• Neat, polished appearance and adherence to dress code
• Punctual, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
• Must follow safe food handling and responsible alcohol service practices
