Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction blueprints and project specifications
• Determine materials and equipment needed for each job
• Cut and shape stone to precise dimensions
• Lay stone according to plans
• Mix and apply grout and cement
• Smooth and polish stone and concrete surfaces
• Operate cranes, hoists, and heavy machinery to move stone
• Dig trenches as needed using a pick and shovel
• Replace damaged or missing stones in structures

Requirements:

• 4–5 years of journeyman-level masonry experience (no training provided)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (team lifts for heavier materials)
• Comfortable working outdoors in loud and physically demanding environments
• Own basic hand tools: trowels, hammer, level
• Knowledge of stone-cutting, shaping, and binding tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity

Note: All major equipment provided by the company — bring your own hand tools.
