Description
As part of the IT Network Infrastructure team, the Storage Administrator plays a key role in solution design, implementation and administration of all storage platforms across the enterprise including SAN/NAS on-premises arrays, backup/recovery, cloud storage and disaster recovery. This role will help optimize our company storage platforms for performance, archival/retrieval and disaster recovery readiness. • Monitoring storage utilization, optimizing volume performance and general daily administration of all storage platforms • Solution and implement storage and backup monitoring and alerting platforms for historical reporting and real-time alerting • Design, implement and maintain data protection strategies for all data types across the organization • Administration of all data snapshots and backups, ensuring all data types are properly protected and fall under appropriate policies • Handle data recovery requests in a timely manner and perform routine recovery test of various backup types • Manage data tiering and archiving lifecycle for all data across the enterprise • Perform standard lifecycle updates on storage and backup hardware, firmware and associated platform software • Configure and administer storage management services for storage reporting, analysis, archival, ransomware prevention, replication and failover recovery • Collaborate with storage vendors on enhancements, maintenance renewal, system updates and routine maintenance • Play a key role in disaster recovery planning, implementation and ongoing administration, utilizing the latest recovery strategies and technologies • Research and test cloud storage strategies for reducing costs and automating data archival and retrieval for various applications and use cases • Ensure all data storage and backup/recovery architectures are designed, configured and administered with best-practices in information security methodologies • Roadmap planning for all storage and backup platforms by evaluating new technologies and solutions that would benefit Imagine • Participate in weekly change management meetings, ensuring changes are properly documented and peer reviewed • Work with network team on configuration and management of storage switches and network configuration and monitoring • Plan and perform system upgrades for after business hours • Script and automate routines for data workflow for various environments • Provide mentoring on cloud technologies and adoption to others in IT • Work with IT security staff to manage security related products and remediate vulnerabilities to meet corporate security policy • Develop and maintain systems configuration documentation and standard operating procedures • Automate routine and repetitive tasks to reduce manual configuration • Interact with business teams to plan and implement new storage solutions and optimization strategies • Work independently, as well as a member of a team. Collaborate with others in Infrastructure, EUC, Information Security, Development and Help Desk teams. • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support • Other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 – $65.00/hr.
