The Storeroom Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the seamless operation of our manufacturing facility by overseeing the management of spare parts and maintenance materials. The Storeroom Supervisor maintains optimal inventory levels, supports maintenance activities, and upholds the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Supervise daily operations of the storeroom, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and issuance of maintenance parts and supplies
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to achieve high inventory accuracy and availability
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Production teams to forecast and fulfill parts requirements proactively
  • Establish and maintain kitting process for planned work
  • Manage procurement processes, including sourcing, ordering, and vendor relations to ensure timely availability of critical components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment, adhering to 5S principles and safety regulations
  • Utilize SAP to track inventory movements, generate reports, and analyze usage patterns
  • Maintain and track KPIs including cycle count accuracy, inventory levels, stock outs, emergency shipment costs, and inventory turns
  • Identify and drive cost saving initiatives with the Storeroom function
  • Train and develop storeroom staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support plant-wide initiatives and drive operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, GMPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support success of the Maintenance and Production departments

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in storeroom or inventory management within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with procurement and inventory processes as well as vendor management
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations and the role of spare parts in equipment reliability
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems, preferably SAP
  • Experience reading technical machine diagrams
