We are seeking a Strategic Initiatives Leader to drive the planning, execution, and impact of high-priority strategic programs across RTI Health Solutions. In this critical role, you will lead transformative initiatives that enhance business growth, operational efficiency, and competitive positioning. You will collaborate across business functions, integrating efforts to maximize value creation and ensure the successful implementation of strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Execution & Leadership:

  • Translate strategic priorities into actionable, high-impact programs.
  • Lead the execution of major initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish accountability frameworks to drive results across teams.
  • Monitor progress, identify roadblocks, and proactively address challenges.

Business Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with corporate strategy, innovation, and change management teams to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Support the integration of acquisitions and strategic partnerships, maximizing synergies.
  • Identify and manage dependencies between strategic programs.
  • Ensure initiatives are properly sequenced and resourced for success.

Operational Excellence & Value Creation:

  • Champion key operational improvements to drive efficiency, margin enhancement, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on cost savings and profitability.
  • Track and analyze critical KPIs, using insights to optimize strategic decisions.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership:

  • Build strong relationships with RTI-HS senior leadership and key internal stakeholders.
  • Provide executive-level updates on strategic progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Drive organizational change management to ensure adoption and long-term success of strategic initiatives.

Performance Measurement & Business Impact:

  • Define success metrics and track program impact.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth and optimize outcomes.
  • Ensure all strategic initiatives deliver measurable business value.
  • To be successful in this role, you will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully leading complex initiatives in a research, healthcare, or consulting environment, and will possess:
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving large-scale organizational change.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to balance innovation, execution, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Well organized, with strong management skills and ability to get the best from colleagues to ensure successful delivery to deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment with changing priorities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s level degree and 18 years of related experience, or
  • Master’s level degree with and 14 years of related experience
  • 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business transformation, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, relationship management and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional iniatives and drive execution in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrated communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
