Strategy – Intern, Strategy

Job Summary:

The Strategy Intern will be responsible for assisting ArchWell Health’s strategy team with various initiatives regarding market research and new market/site selection. The intern will be responsible for creating market profiles for various new and current markets, helping to refine our selection processes, and assisting with other strategy projects that may arise throughout the length of the internship.

This experience is designed to help the intern develop skills around strategic thinking, hone the intern’s business acumen and to be a thorough introduction to value-based primary care.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Creating market profiles that provide executives with critical information needed for market success
• Refine models and processes used for site and market selection
• Assist with ad hoc analyses that arise over the course of the internship

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Usage of business knowledge and strategic thinking to translate research into business insights
• Identification and evaluation data sources which may be of use for solving business problems
• Thinking creatively about stakeholder needs and turning those needs into concrete deliverables
• Possesses basic knowledge regarding how the U.S. healthcare industry functions

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university
• Has business experience either through course work or prior experience
• Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Excel
