Student Behaviour Assistant – Tilehurst, Reading35 hours – £85 – £95 Daily RateAre you passionate about supporting students with mental health needs? Are you enthusiastic about helping students reach their full potential?We are a fantastic SEN/SEMH provision based in Tilehurst, Reading, who want to welcome an enthusiastic candidate to the team as a Student Behaviour Assistant. The school educatie and support students who face challenges relating to challenging behaviour and emotional regulation. They are looking for a confident candidate to join the school as a Student behaviour Assistant to support the students who thrive when given consistent guidance and encouragement. As a Student Behaviour Assistant, you will be assisting students aged 5 – 16 years old throughout the school day.The Student Behaviour Assistant’s responsibilities:
- Identify potential triggers for challenging behaviour
- Encourage independence and self-investigation
- Act as a role model for students
- Communicate with teachers, parents and on-site professionals
- Ensuring students feel safe and able to express themselves
Working as a Student Behaviour Assistant is an incredibly rewarding experience; seeing students overcome hurdles and reach their potential despite facing difficulties. The school is a fantastic environment to gain experience and develop your skill set working with vulnerable children.
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
- £85 – £95 daily rate
