The Data & Information Management Student is a role within the in the Corporate Applications team. This role collaborates both operationally and through business lead demands to improve business capabilities across all areas of Cenovus. The ideal candidate for this role will be hardworking, independent and interested in driving value through hands on experience and collaborations with others.

What you’ll do

• Key duties and responsibilities are to consult, collaborate and deliver on key business initiatives within in the M365 SharePoint, Power Platform and PowerBI services.
• Within Corporate Applications team, the position will focus on data integrity, as well as enhancing application road maps; documenting data flows & processes and helping enable Personal/Business productivity across the organization.

Who you are

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: 

• Legally authorized to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa).
• Available to begin work in May 2025.
• Drives for results and Effective Communication.
• Proficiency with any of the following software systems is considered an asset: ServiceNow, MS Office, SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerApps and PowerBI.

We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.

Education 

• Must be enrolled in a Computer Science, Information Systems or Computer Engineering Undergraduate Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
• Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
• New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
