Location: Hounslow Position: Student Support Assistant Hourly Rate: £14.00 – £16.50 Full-Time Student Support Assistant Opportunity in Education Tradewind is partnering with a college in Hounslow, a dynamic centre for learning and development, to find a committed Student Support Assistant. This full-time position, offering Monday to Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:40 PM to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. This is perfect for those passionate about creating positive educational experiences for students. Role Overview: As a Student Support Assistant, you will be a key member of the team, providing personalized support to students, particularly those with behavioral challenges. Your role will contribute to fostering an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that helps students excel both academically and emotionally. You will work closely with teaching staff, assisting in effective classroom management and the overall success of the learning environment. Key Responsibilities:Provide support to students, particularly those with behavioral challenges.Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.Collaborate with teachers to implement effective behavior management strategies.Support the educational and emotional development of individual students. Requirements:Experience supporting students with behavioral difficulties.Strong classroom management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with a team.A positive, patient attitude with a strong commitment to student success. Essential Criteria:Experience working with secondary school students.Excellent classroom management skills.Patience, empathy, and a positive outlook.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.Enhanced DBS disclosure.Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable).Professional reference checks.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
