Location: South Norwood, LondonOur client, a high-performing academy based in South Norwood, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Subject Lead for Media to take the next step in their teaching career. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a well-established Media department, shaping the curriculum and driving academic excellence across Key Stages 3 to 5.The Role:
Lead the planning and delivery of an engaging and high-quality Media curriculum
Provide strategic direction and leadership within the department
Support and mentor teaching staff to ensure excellent standards of teaching and learning
Use data to monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and collaborate with senior leadershipThe Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Proven experience teaching Media Studies at KS3–KS5, with strong outcomes
Previous experience in a leadership or middle management role is desirable
An innovative and reflective practitioner with excellent subject knowledge
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skillsBenefits:
