GFT is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Technician II to join our Construction Services Team in anyone of our offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas or Illinios! This position will require up to 90% travel nationally. This role follows an in-office work model, requiring regular attendance at field locations based on project deliverables.

What you’ll be challenged to do:

As an SUE Technician II you will work with the SUE Department lead, Project Managers, and Analyst to provide subsurface utility engineering activities. Provides quality and efficient fieldwork by interpreting and documenting information related to underground Utilities.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for data collection of underground utilities by means of pipe and cable locators, ground penetrating radar, and vacuum excavation.
• Responsible for communicating between team members both written and verbal
• Ensures SUE field health and safety compliance in conjunction with supervisors
• Maintain records, prepare reports and prepare correspondence as needed related to the completion of work assignments.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management.

Employment Status: Full-time. Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $25/hour – $35/hour
Salary dependent upon experience and geographic location
