Specific Duties / Essential Job Functions
The supervisor is responsible for an assigned area or a building.
Responsible for the direct oversight of front-line employees.
Responsible for ensuring that productivity levels and customer service requirements are being met and that front-line employees are complying with all safety, quality, and compliance standards established by the Company and by our Clients
Responsible for directing and cleaning designated areas within appropriate time-frames.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skill
Manage employee lunches and breaks.
Maintain communication with Managers to maintain optimum staffing levels, meet client expectations, and coordinate facility operations.
In close coordination with Managers), effectively coach, counsel and discipline employees
Set positive, professional example for workforce.
Conduct safety and quality audits.
Assign tasks to front line team members based on job requirements or special assignments.
Inspect all completed work for conformance to ABM and customer standards.
Train new workers and oversee on-going training of existing employees.
Minimum Requirements
One year of supervisory experience
One year of janitorial experience
Training in the cleaning industry or building management field is preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate with team members verbally and in writing Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and to accomplish objectives
Ability to handle and resolve problems
May be required to work overnight shifts and weekends
