| position Highlights | The Supplemental Instruction (SI) Coordinator contributes to a team of professional staff that provides the day-to-day administrative and program oversight for a Think Tank’s accredited SI program. Under the direction of the SI Manager, the SI Coordinator helps lead, coordinate, and supervise 50-60 student workers who provide academic support to thousands of university students. The coordinator contributes to all facets of the team’s efforts in the recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, mentoring, and supervision of student SI Leaders. This position is eligible for flexible scheduling. Flexible Work Arrangements will be evaluated every six months, or as needed to assess department workforce needs. | Duties & Responsibilities | -Assist in the leadership and coordination of all Supplemental Instruction services to ensure effective and engaging student academic support. -Maintain accurate SI program records, including leader information, student attendance, and performance data within department databases. -Provide guidance and problem solving support for SI Leaders, interpreting departmental policies and procedures in consultation with the SI Manager. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Knowledge of leadership, management, and supervision principles and practices.
