Overview
The Supply Chain Associate provides customer service and support to hospital and off-site locations by the timely distribution of supplies and shipments needed for patient care. They are responsible for picking and stocking product accurately, unloading shipments from various carriers, verifying shipment contents and working with Purchasing to resolve any shipment discrepancies.

Responsibilities
Performs daily inventory checks on the department supply carts to ensure adequate supply levels are available for patient care.Assists in receiving functions by unloading shipments from various carriers, visually verifying contents of the shipments and electronically receiving the shipment in the system. Works with Purchasing to investigate and resolve any shipment discrepancies.Rotates stock in the Storeroom and on the supply carts to ensure the oldest product is used first and continuously monitors supplies for expiration.Collaborates with Inventory Coordinator and Supervisor to ensure warehouse remains clean, organized and safe. Communicates product discrepancies or supply shortages.Performs courier role to transport mail, supplies, bank deposits, pharmaceuticals, and lab specimens to Carle and non-Carle facilities.Stages product correctly for internal and external distribution.Performs accurate order fulfillment and data entry.Transports supplies and equipment safely and efficiently throughout the facility.Maintains accuracy and efficiency with deliveries and keeps stock in a clean and orderly manner on the supply carts.Acts as a liaison between nursing units and Storeroom to ensure supplies are delivered, replenished and stocked.Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers with any supply need and escalates concerns to management as needed.Assists with product returns, including ordering errors and non-conforming supplies.Performs basic maintenance tasks on medical equipment such as, but not limited to, sanitizing, and rust removal and assessing need to replace and/or order additional equipment to support patient care operations. Responsible for cleaning and preparing equipment for delivery. Maintains appropriate stock in code carts.

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $16.03per hour – $25.97per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
