Qualifications

ASSESSMENT FACTORS

1. Demonstrates ability to accomplish independently the full spectrum of logistic support including – demonstrated ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery,

ability to drive required trucks, couple and decouple trailers, load and unload shipments, and the ability to coordinate ground and air transportation for both CONUS and OCONUS mission support.

2. Demonstrates the full spectrum of property accountability for operationally and RDT&E acquired property including – property accession from contract procurement, interagency

transfer, furnished equipment, and developmental activities; property transfer or expenditure for operational use; property retirement through Defense Logistics Agency Disposition

Services (DLADS), depreciation, or end-of-useful life, proven DIA Cataloging Certification and competency in using property related systems and processes including FACTS,

Quartermaster, Archibus, and DLADS.

3. With no supervision, completes work, meets priorities, and achieved results based on the organization’s goals and objectives.

4. Continues to expand and maintain diverse professional working relationships to actively and effectively network across directorate and Agency functions; continually uses networks to resolve issues and problematic situations by sharing resources and lessons learned.

5. Exercises independent judgment in selecting and applying appropriate work methods, procedures, techniques, and practices in accomplishing their logistics duties and responsibilities.

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS

1. Hands on experience in sanitizing electronic equipment including but not limited to, laptops, desktop computers, sensor systems, cameras, servers and data storage systems for

the purposes of property disposition through proper channels and in compliance with security procedures.

2. Familiarization with Space Launch Delta 45 facilities and maintenance procedures and with the Civil Engineering, Facilities, Maintenance, and Crane Shop.

3. Demonstrated experience with Environmental Compliance and Safety Compliance in order to support annual inspections and coordination with Office of the Surgeon General.

Additional information

DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application. Applicants must meet the agency’s conditions of employment, to include, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of an initial special background investigation and periodic reinvestigation, completion of any required medical examination and physical requirements, completion of any required personal interviews, favorable completion of any required initial or aperiodic polygraph examinations, completion of any required drug test, satisfactory completion of a two-year Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System trial period, and completion of a civilian mobility agreement. All employees are required to sign an agreement not to disclose, in any fashion, classified information to unauthorized persons. All civilian employees are required to participate in the DoD Direct Deposit/Electronic Fund Transfer of Pay (DD/EFT) Program.
