Learn more at .Position Summary:Sitecore is looking for an exceptional individual to lead our innovative, award winning global Legal and Compliance teams and to oversee all legal aspects of the business. Partnering across the organization, you will be a well-rounded Legal expert, able to mitigate risks and build strong relationship with all key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the CFO, the role encompasses a broad range of legal responsibilities, with a particular focus on corporate, commercial and compliance. The role requires a pragmatic hands-on approach and the experience to advise on strategic decision making.Responsibilities:

• Accountable for all legal aspects of Sitecore’s business.
• Manage internal legal department and external counsel.
• Serve as Sitecore’s most senior legal advisor, providing strategic legal guidance to the CEO, ELT and the Board on a range of matters.
• Point of escalation and decision for most serious legal issues.
• Ensure our business has a globally integrated approach to technology law, data privacy compliance and AI regulation.
• Ensure the legal team is very responsive to the needs of our GTM teams.
• You will provide exceptional and practical support to the Sales and Partner teams to reach win-win commercial arrangements.
• Ensure that Sitecore is at the forefront of how great SaaS companies’ setup their legal function building on recent innovations like Legal Hub.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and facilitate legal training.
• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies.
• Support corporate transactions and due diligence.

About you

• 10+ years of legal experience in the technology space.
• Strong breadth of legal knowledge and in-depth subject matter expertise in corporate, commercial and compliance.
• Previous Head of Legal experience preferred.
• Extensive experience of successfully dealing with prospects, customers and partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills; exceptional business judgment, with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice by balancing business needs with legal risks.
• Proven experience managing large legal teams and working with senior executives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Curious and enthusiastic about innovation and technology.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Law degree and license to practice law.
