Summary:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual machines, networks, and data storage systems.
• Lead and mentor the IT systems team by assigning tasks, promoting best practices, and supporting professional growth.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting to ensure high performance, security, and availability of systems.
• Coordinate and manage IT projects such as system upgrades, network enhancements, and new technology integrations, ensuring timely delivery.
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.

Requirements):

• Education and experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g., Bachelor’s degree).
• 9+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master’s + 7 years, or 13 years of relevant experience)
• Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP).
• Experience administering Linux/Unix or Windows platforms.
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting complex network issues.
• 5+ years of experience communicating technical concepts to customers in both written and verbal formats across various forums.
• Strong experience with both RedHat Linux and Microsoft Windows servers, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Proven ability to manage and secure server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and scalability.
• Knowledge of advanced IT features including virtualization, automation, and patch management, with the ability to integrate systems into a cohesive infrastructure.
• Extensive experience applying Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
• Skilled in system hardening and vulnerability mitigation in alignment with military and federal cybersecurity standards.
• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
