In addition, the Consultant is responsible for facilitating Insights Discovery programs and other team development programs and solutions.
This role reports to the Manager of Talent Practices and is a position with the Talent Management team in Human Resources (HR) at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI).
The Consultant will – under the guidance of the Manager of Talent Practices – design a standardized and comprehensive approach for designing and delivering train-the-trainer programs focused on talent development and team development solutions. The consultant will partner closely with the Manager to document and map the talent review and succession planning processes that Dana-Farber Cancer Institute recently launched.
In addition, the Consultant will also facilitate Insights Discovery and newly-created team development solutions whose aim is to increase team effectiveness. The Consultant will, in partnership with the Manager, design and develop train-the-trainer programs and resources for these team solutions using the same standardized and comprehensive train-the-trainer approach for talent review and succession planning processes.
These are brand new initiatives being launched at the Institute. As such, the successful candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with a passion for talent assessment, talent development, and increasing team effectiveness through facilitated programs. They must have a proven track record of developing and delivering train-the-trainer programs within organizations and successfully facilitating Insight Discovery.
The Consultant must build effective relationships and collaborate across the Talent Management team, greater Human Resources, and with various departments to gather insights that will inform and optimize the structure and design of train-the-trainer programs and resources.
The Consultant will collaborate with our HR Business Partner team to collect input and feedback for building and developing the train-the-trainer programs they will engage in. The consultant will use proven best practices for design and delivery approaches and adapt them to our organization and its mission. This includes the design and execution of talent review and succession planning programs that address the workforce capabilities, skills, and competencies needed to attain current and future goals of the business.
