About the role
Imperial College London is a world Top 10 university with an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research. The Capital Projects and Estates Management Team of the Property Division who help manage one of the largest built estates in the University sector. The department delivers a comprehensive range of services to an academic community who are world leaders in the provision of Engineering, Medicine, Natural Sciences, Business Management, Research and Teaching.
Working within the Capital Projects and Estates Management Team, this position will play a key supportive role in monitoring and reporting on Imperial’s ambitious capital investment programme. Utilising sound administrative and organisational skills, as well as a robust approach to data to accomplish a variety of tasks, you will make an important contribution to the development of world-leading facilities for our students, researchers, staff and the wider community.
What you would be doing
In this role, you will support Imperial’s Project and Programme Managers to carry out the reporting and monitoring function of the Capital Projects and Estates Management Department. This will involve keeping accurate records of the progress of various capital projects and major building works, monitoring spending, risks, issues, performance and workload across the department. You will also help to convert this data into meaningful and legible reports and presentations for a variety of different audiences, with an eye for consistency and detail. In addition to these data-collection and reporting responsibilities, you will also assist with a variety of other administrative tasks as needed.

- Proven ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, and the ability to compile and monitor progress reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Effective prioritisation skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proven organisational skills, enthuasiasm and tenacity
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office and complimentary applications (Adobe Acrobat, website content management apps, etc.)
