Who we’re looking for

The role involves providing comprehensive administrative support within Schroders Capital to the CEO of Schroders Capital and Business Analyst to the CEO. The position is based in London and requires office attendance four days per week at 1 London Wall Place. The ideal candidate should have some experience at a Team Assistant level supporting senior stakeholders within the business. It is a requirement that the individual demonstrates initiative, drive, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

Administrative Support:

  • Take clear instruction to provide comprehensive support including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Support the Business Analyst to prepare, draft, and edit reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Maintain organised filing systems and manage confidential documents.
  • Act as a liaison between senior leaders and key stakeholders.

Meeting Management:

  • Organise day-to-day meetings, including communication, travel, room bookings, and catering.
  • Prepare meeting materials and enhance presentations with the support of the Business Analyst.
  • Take meeting minutes and follow up on actions.
  • Organise staff events, social and charity work, and offsite support.

Diary and Travel Management:

  • Manage complex diaries and ensure executives have necessary materials for meetings.
  • Coordinate diary management with other Assistants.
  • Manage travel arrangements within policy, prepare itineraries, and handle expenses and invoices.

Office Management:

  • Point of contact for office related questions and issues which include but are not limited to: liaising with Facility management, keep the office setting functional, liaise with internal and external guests, manage IT requests.
  • Handle new joiner onboarding and leaver management.

Team Administration:

  • Respond to emails and queries, direct phone calls, and support teams within the Schroders Capital team with adhoc requests.
  • Collaborate with other Executive Assistants and administrative support across Schroders.
  • Support the Schroders Capital Leadership team during London office visits.

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need:

  • Experience supporting executive-level stakeholders, adhering to confidentiality, and possessing strong administration, organisational, and prioritisation skills.
  • Solutions-driven, resilient, and able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Coordination across time zones and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and firm-specific technology packages.
  • Ability to utilise new tools like Gen AI to enhance operational processes.
  • Engage in continuous learning and skill development through company programs and industry-related reading.
  • Uphold professional telephone and interpersonal skills.
