37 hours per weekYou will lead and have operational management for the social work practitioners within the Forensic Mental Health Service, Caswell Clinic and the Secure Estates, HMP Parc.Being the professional social work lead you will provide specialist social work advice to the social work practitioners, clinical leads and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for the professional practice of social work whilst supporting a multi- disciplinary approach.To lead the operational management of social work practitioners, manage the service key performance indicators and play a key role in promoting the service and engaging with regional partners and key stakeholders.To ensure outstanding social work practice by leading and promoting the delivery of the highest level of practice skills and developments, through the ability to inspire and mentor the team.You will actively promote our ‘Strengths-Based Model of Practice-Working to Achieve Outcomes’Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.Criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.The council’s Hybrid Working Policy applies to this post. This provides a framework for establishing how you will undertake working hours between your home and the office.Closing Date: 30 October 2024
