Full time; Project office in Grenada, occasional regional or international missions
Duration
April 2025 until June 2026, with possibility for extension
Main Duties
- Manage the monitoring of the implementation of the Challenge Fund for Agriculture (CFA)
- Actively support the implementation of the CFA, also and especially in the field
- Extensive maintaining a good flow of communication and information between all stakeholders involved especially the MoAL, GDB and the beneficiaries.
- Support in the establishment of the Water Resources Management Unit (WRMU)
- Support stakeholder workshops design and implementation for the WRMU
- Support the Development of lessons learnt in close coordination with the Technical Advisor for Outreach component 5
- Steering of local and regional consultants and oversight of all respective procurement processes within the respective activities
Profile requirements
Qualifications

University degree in environmental science, economics, business or international management or similar
Professional Experience and required competences
-
4 years of professional working experience in public advisory services or in the private sector, with a focus on climate change, environment or agriculture

2 years of experience in the agriculture sector

First-hand experience in working with data collection and analysis

Experience in the agricultural sector and interacting with farmers

Good understanding of farmer needs in Grenada

Experience with PR products, events and office operations

Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Languages, applications and other competences
- Strong communication and networking skills
- Excellent teamplayer and proactiveness
- Very good working knowledge of ITC technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, MS Teams)
- Valid driver’s license or willingness to acquire one
- Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed – corresponding measures are agreed with management
- Candidate must be a Citizen of Grenada or be allowed to work in Grenada.
