LOCATION: Based in Erbil, travel to governorates of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KRI): Duhok, Erbil, Sulaimaniya, and Halabja.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Experts will be assigned to Pool 1, and will be responsible for ‘Ensuring Adherence to International Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Quality Standards’.
Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that all analyses, ToTs, TVET programmes, curricula and any further trainings or documents adhere to international quality standards
- Providing international best practices for the development of analyses, concepts, programmes, curricula, ToTs and any further materials and trainings
- Supporting the implementation of all WPs as well as their monitoring and evaluation, including but not limited to the development of analyses, concepts, participant profiles, etc.
- Supporting the organisation and facilitation of events
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education/training:
- A university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent Diploma) in Education, TVET, Educational Management or Private Sector Development or completed vocational training at level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework (e.g. master craftsman’s certificate)
Language:
- Knowledge of English, C1-level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
General professional experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in TVET sector
Specific professional experience, one or more of the following:
- 5 years of professional experience in designing and advising on active labour market measures for employment promotion
- 5 years of professional experience in TVET curricula development
- 5 years of professional experience in providing Training of Trainer courses in the TVET sector
- 5 years of professional experience in organisational development of TVET institutions
- 5 years of conducting labour market assessments
International professional experience outside the country/region of assignment:
- 5 years of professional experience in one country outside the Middle East
Experience in the field of development cooperation:
- 3 years of experience in development cooperation projects
