Role Purpose – Technical Delivery Manager Technical Delivery Manager – Data and Analytics Technology. This is an opportunity to join the delivery team responsible for the planning, development and delivery of Equity IT products for the Benchmarks and Indices business. This is a hands-on delivery role and forms part of the wider programme to design and build state of the art, industry leading benchmarks and indices offerings to meet client and market needs and enable ROI targets for the associated business outcomes. Role responsibilities: • Partner with business and technology teams to understand scope and objectives for multiple business initiatives and client requests. • Own and drive planning and execution of multi-year IT Delivery roadmaps and plans to deliver the workstream scope, ensuring that the workstream plans align with other workstreams, identifying and organising the resources required for delivery. • Define and agree detailed e2e delivery plans and release schedules with agreed dependencies through SDLC (scoping, planning, development, testing and implementation). • Quickly build relationships within LSEG Refinitiv teams and with external partners to deliver common outcomes within scope and on-time. • Facilitate Scrum of Scrums to coordinate and embed best practice across the teams • Create necessary programme structures for detailed monitoring and tracking of JIRA’s to maintain the flow of work and remove impediments. • Ensure product and teams (sprint) backlogs are maintained to a high standard. • Proactively identify Risks, Issues, Dependencies, Assumptions, detailing them and proactively resolving or mitigating them. Own and manage RAID’s and return to green actions. • Lead analysis and ensure all impacts of dependencies are addressed in the overall delivery plan. Effectively work across the organization to ensure all dependent teams are aligned with the project plans and schedules. • Drive product quality through the development pipeline, embedding best practices and ways of working. • Lead and collaborate with teams as required to remove blockers and manage escalations. • Strong problem solving – hands-on driving and coordinating mitigation and resolution activities (not watching). Providing options and solutions to resolve conflicts within the team. • Good decision making with sound judgment at a senior management level using assertiveness and influencing skills to demonstrate business benefits and to ensure the decision is fully understood and accepted. • Maintain and manage workstream resource plans and budget/costs as required, ensuring resource allocation meets demand. • Create and deliver high quality well written RAG scorecards and status reports for programme reporting and governance. • Develop a culture of resilience, simplification continuous improvement activities to move teams from forming, learning, doing towards high-performance. • Facilitate inspect and adapt activities and foster communities of practices. • Mentor and drive a high-performance culture within the delivery teams across regions and third-party consultants. • Act as the technology delivery point of contact for the Benchmarks and Indices business. • Financial Management and Project Accounting – Providing the critical data required for the project management function to supervise and track financial health, analysing resource requirements across multiple projects or across programmes to meet strategic goals. • Support development changes, providing accurate estimates for time and capital costs, attending project meetings and analysing impact for proposed project work and meeting deadlines. Candidate Profile – Minimum Requirements Technical / functional knowledge: • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent. • Proven hands-on experience in delivering large-scale technical programmes. • Strong financial and resource management, working with budgets of circa
