About the Team:

Classification of existing manuals and topics within the editing tool to publish the technical information to the Aftermarket Portal / Technical Info. Adjusting media types (e.g. images) in relation to editorial guidesline for further using within the editing tool.

What you can look forward to as Technical Editor – product Information Management?:

• Research and enter the required feature values according to the current classification structure and editorial guidelines
• Deriving independent topics from existing instructions in coordination with the editorial team in Passau
• After publication, check instructions and topics in the Aftermarket Portal/Technical Info
• Edit images and videos according to editorial guidelines for further use in instructions, manuals and topics
• Creating media objects in the content management system (editorial tool)
• Creation and maintenance of the document master in the PLM system

Your Profile as Technical Editor – Product Information Management:

• Further education as a technician
• Experience (practice) in service support (Aftermarket experience)
• Basic knowlege in German and English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of local regulations and related directives (OHS, fire safety, CE)
• Experience in PLM systems (BOM-structure, change management, …)
• Experience in XML-based editorial systems, PIM systems and in image editing tools
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); good organizational skills; logical thinking; flexibility; independence
• Teamwork; responsibility, active communication, results-oriented
