Overview:
The Field Intelligence Operations Division, residing within the National Security Sciences Directorate, invites candidates to apply to join the team as a Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Specialist to apply technical proficiency and expertise to ensure security and safeguards throughout the SCIFs in accordance with DOE and IC policy. The TSSC Specialist will work as part of a team on the Oak Ridge National Laboratory’s SCIF Technical Security Program regarding technical surveillance countermeasures and TEMPEST activities. This position combines advanced technical skills with strategic management and strict adherence to security protocols. The TSSC Team Manager will be responsible for ensuring Department of Energy (DOE) Orders, Intelligence Community (IC), and other contract-mandated Safeguards and Security requirements are communicated to ORNL management and staff.

You will be involved in all facets of planning and conducting tactical, strategic, and joint TSSC operations and activities. These activities are designed to detect and neutralize a wide variety of hostile technical surveillance technologies designed to obtain unauthorized access to classified and sensitive information. Primary duties will include development, documentation, implementation, and compliance assurance of the TSCM and TEMPEST programs.
