Fox Valley Elevator is a leading manufacturer of high-quality residential elevator systems. We’re growing and looking for a mechanically skilled professional who wants to get off the road and into a stable, predictable, office-based role. This position is perfect for someone with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or field-service experience who enjoys troubleshooting but wants a consistent daily routine.
What You’ll Do

• Remote Troubleshooting for elevator systems via phone and email
• Support field technicians with step-by-step guidance using schematics and manuals
• Ensure code compliance for residential elevator installations
• Provide parts quotes and coordinate with vendors
• Assist with modernization projects for legacy elevator systems
• Deliver training to installation technicians
• Document issues, track KPIs, and support call-center operations
• Build strong customer relationships and provide clear, professional communication

• Strong mechanical aptitude (HVAC, mechanical, electrical, elevator, or similar background)
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals
• Excellent communication skills
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and ticketing tools
• Strong problem-solving mindset and customer-first attitude

No degree required — hands-on experience matters most.
Preferred (Not Required)

• Elevator industry experience
• CET, PMP, or other technical certifications
• Experience training technicians
• Knowledge of residential elevator codes
• Familiarity with modernization or legacy equipment
• PLC
• Mitsubishi and Siemens products.

Work Environment

• Office-based role with predictable daily routine
• Occasional site visits
• Extended phone/computer work
• Light lifting (up to 75 lbs)
