Job Overview:

• Observe and report changes in heart rhythms
• Support RNs in delivering patient-centered care
• Must have good time management skills and be able to multitask
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts

The Monitor Technician is a member of the multidisciplinary team, under the direction of the RN, which provides or assists with basic patient care requirements, treatments and procedures. Must successfully complete Basic Dysrhythmia Class. You will be observing patient rhythms and reporting changes to registered nurse, among other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/education:

• Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider, within six months of hire.
• Completion of a high school education or equivalent (GED) preferred
• Successfully completes Epic class as required by care center/unit
• Successfully passes Basic Dysrhythmia test as required by unit
