Job Overview:

As a Telemetry Technician, you will Provides physicians and nurses with data for use in the diagnosis and the planning of interventions related to cardiac conditions

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School Graduate
• Completion of dysrhythmia course
• Enrolled in an Accredited Nursing program helpful
• REQUIREMENTS
• 12 Lead ECG competency
• Previous clinical/patient care experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

• Evenings
• Full-time

Essential Functions:

• Conducts cardiac monitoring on adolescent to geriatric patients, including Application of monitors, rhythm interpretation, and performance of 12 lead EKG
• Participates in hospital quality improvement activities
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to determine each patient’s age-specific needs and provide age specific treatment
