Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Desk Clerk for the Evanston campus.
Temporary Job Description:

Serves as a primary desk contact for residents in graduate housing for general administrative needs including distribution of keys and packages during move-in. This position is to provide prompt, courteous, and timely customer service to our residents and off-campus contacts. This includes answering the telephone, greeting residents who come to the desk, answering questions and identifying and analyzing the residents’ housing-related problems and directing them appropriately. Must be detail-oriented, possess customer service skills, have basic technology and software (Microsoft Office, Pitney-Bowes, Mercury) knowledge. They will work primarily from the desk (shared work space) during our peak move-in period in graduate housing. Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs. Available Schedule (subject to change based on other staffing changes): Engelhart: Wednesday-Friday 4pm-8pm & Sat-Sun 8am-12pm McManus: Wednesday-Sunday 2pm-8pm

In addition to salary, this temporary position is eligible for paid time off and paid sick time in accordance with Northwestern University policies. This position is not eligible for other benefits offered to regular staff positions.
