Test Technician (Hardware Validation)

WHOOP is seeking a Test Technician to join our hardware team and support the evaluation and validation of our wearable technology. In this role, you will execute test procedures and assess the performance of critical hardware subsystems, helping ensure our product meets the highest standards for reliability, accuracy, and user experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute test procedures for WHOOP hardware, evaluating the performance and reliability of internal subsystems
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify issues and improve overall product functionality
  • Collect, document, and analyze test data to provide actionable feedback to design and development teams
  • Conduct functional, stress, and regression testing on prototype and production devices
  • Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts as needed
  • Maintain clear and organized records of test plans, results, and anomalies

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in a hardware testing, lab technician, or quality assurance role
  • Familiarity with basic Python coding strongly preferred
  • General understanding of electronics, sensors, and embedded systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test protocols
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced development environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
