What you’ll do:

• Plan and implement groups/activities to assist clients in their recovery/treatment – focusing on recreation/leisure, life, work, social, physical/wellness skills
• Serve as job coach to clients in the work therapy program
• Provide a safe/secure environment during client activities
• Observe client behavior, informing treatment team and document client progress/behavior in the Electronic Medical Record
• Plan and implement special events for assigned program
• Participate in program planning
• Maintain needed supplies and equipment

All you need for success:

Minimum Qualifications

• Possession of High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with persons with mental illness, developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and/or the elderly population in one or more of the following areas: recreation, physical education, arts and crafts, horticulture, health and fitness, arts/expressive arts, music, or a closely related area.
