Grave Shift – Assembly Operator

Pay: $21/hr + 15% = $24.15/hr

Job Description

Manufacture, assemble, and process medical device components and products. Utilize light tools and equipment according to instructions and specifications from drawings and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run multiple laser machines simultaneously (4-5 machines).
• Inspect metal parts under a microscope.
• Record data accurately in computer systems.

Essential Skills

• experience in production and assembly.
• Proficiency in using microscopes and data entry.
• Experience with small part assembly experience.
• fluency in English for reading and speaking.
• Comfortable working on a production floor with light gowning and around chemicals.
• Ability to lift 10-15 lbs repetitively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Capability to utilize measurement tools and devices as required by processes.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment consisting of three main areas: a clean room for assembly and sub-assembly operations, a laser area for cutting and shaping small nitinol components, and a materials area for manufacturing with raw materials, which is more heavy and dirty. The position requires working in grave shifts with the following schedules: Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, 9:45 pm to 6:15 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $24.15/hr.
