Traffic EngineerJob Description

We are currently seeking a Traffic Engineer to assist Engineers and Project Managers with the preparation of transportation plans, traffic engineering analysis, and transportation studies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing specifications and plans for roadway improvement projects, conducting technical analysis, and performing traffic calming studies and designs. Additionally, the role involves preparing technical reports, transportation-related plans and graphics, and collecting field data and traffic counts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specifications and plans for roadway improvement projects

• Conduct technical analysis

• Perform traffic calming studies and designs

• Prepare technical reports

• Prepare transportation-related plans and graphics

• Collect field data, traffic counts, and other research

• Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates

• Travel to job sites for site visits, data collection, and meetings as required

• Provide technical support for meetings

The pay range for this position is $28.00 – $48.00
