Training Material Development Consultancy

Background of the project  

Protection Case Management (PCM) is a social work approach that provides personalized support to people at high risk due to human rights violations or the additional challenges caused by forced displacement, conflict, or other humanitarian situations.

Humanitarian organizations are increasingly using PCM, but it lacks a standardized information management system (IMS). This leads to higher costs, inefficiencies, poor coordination, and data security risks, as each organization or country reinvents processes.

This project aims to develop and implement a PCM module in Primero, a digital platform designed for case management in humanitarian contexts. Primero is already used for Gender-Based Violence and Child Protection case management, making it familiar to practitioners. The module will be piloted in Ukraine and prepared for global use.

Scope of Work

Develop and draft initial training materials for facilitators to deliver in-person PCMIMS+ training during system rollouts. The training package will target front-line users, including caseworkers, supervisors, focal points, and project managers. These materials will serve as global resources, adaptable to various contexts and rollout environments.

Deliverables:

·Outline of training materials needed for PCMIMS+ in-person training

·Outline of training materials needed for PCMIMS+ remote training

·Initial draft of training materials for in-person training

Qualifications:

• Solid technical knowledge of protection rights issues and global standards in protection case management. Experience working with information management systems and ideally using the Primero platform
• Demonstrated experience in pedagogical skills and learning principles
• Previous experience working on projects that require a highly iterative and consultative process, with the capacity to incorporate multiple levels of feedback and perspectives in final products in developing guidance and training documents
• Flexible work attitude, with the ability to follow direction and work independently across a virtual work environment
• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
