What You Can Expect
As our Transactional Tax Intern, you will be involved in reviewing tax transactions related to the utility (retail power/gas) markets: Sales/Use, Gross Receipts, Utility User Tax. You will work a hybrid schedule from our Houston, TX offices. The internship work term will be January 5, 2026 – May 29, 2026, part-time 20 hours per week minimum.
You will support the Transactional Tax team in topics such as:
You will also assist in preparation of journal entries and tax filings. You will be reporting to the Tax manager.

Compensation
Hourly Range: $24.50 to $33.50 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
