Transportation Analyst

• • Direct contact for carriers with respect to Order Notification, Order Changes, Cancellations, Delayed Loads, Problem Loads, Rejections, Overweight’s and Accidents to maintain a good relationship with them and ensure the timely arrival of the product.

  • Liaison between Carriers, Ports, Sales, Product Manager and Director or Transportation. Work with all regarding product availability and transportation issues.

• • Process freight bills and resolve invoice discrepancies of the carriers, to ensure the correct collection and payment to the carriers. Maintain and update files on all freight payables.

• • Prepare and distribute reports, to ensure the availability of necessary and timely information related to the fruit sent to the different ports.

• • Maintain all files, transportation documents and reports in an organized manner and create and update Western Division Rate and Freight Differential spreadsheets.

• • Work with District Managers on customer service/freight related issues for loads out of all 3 Ports, to solve all issues and provide excellent customer service.

  • Train other Transportation Divisions in AutoPay (payable system), to comply with their requirements.

Qualifications and experience

• • Associate’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1 -3 years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of D365, Mainsail, One World, Tranship, and 3rd-party vessel websites
  • Understanding of port procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment
  • Occasional travel required.
