We dairy you!Agropur is looking for a Transport Supervisor to join its team in St-Hubert.Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Transport Supervisor will be responsible for supervising internal and external transport movements within Canada. In addition to managing daily operations, they will need to implement and maintain a customer-centric approach, identify economic initiatives to improve financial performance, and ensure continuous process improvement.How Agropur invests in YOU:Recognition of years of service in calculating vacation time.Flexible group insurance plan, including telemedicine service.Employee assistance program.50% telework flexibility;Opportunity to invest in you (Career Path, etc.).Pension plan including employer contributions.Salary range 004: 71 200$ to 89 000$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)What’s involved in this role:More specifically, the responsibilities of the Transport Supervisor are:Ensuring the efficient execution of internal deliveries between sites, customer warehouse orders, and delivery activities under their responsibility;Developing and implementing procedures to meet customer expectations regarding delivery deadlines;Developing, implementing, and enforcing rigorously planned departure schedules aligned with the production schedules of the source plant;Managing relationships with external carriers;Promoting a culture of health and safety compliance by conveying Agropur’s values and ensuring that carriers and employees comply with all current standards.What you need to join our team:Degree in operations management or logistics, transport, or other relevant field;5 years or more of experience in the transport field or a related field;Experience in managing senior personnel, an asset;Proficiency in the Office suite;Knowledge of SAP TM or Oracle (an asset);Available to travel to support and train team members;Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
