👤 Reporting to: Head of Wills & TaxOverviewA busy and growing Wills & Tax department is seeking a Trust Administrator to join their team in the heart of Ringwood . This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in trust or estate administration who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day administration of a portfolio of trusts
- Liaising with trustees, beneficiaries, and professional advisers
- Preparing trust accounts and annual trust tax returns
- Managing key dates and deadlines for compliance
- Assisting with the creation, variation, and termination of trusts
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Supporting solicitors with estate planning matters as required
- Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
Person SpecificationEssential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in trust administration, tax, or a private client support role
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of trust and estate terminology and concepts
- Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
- Professional and clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- Experience preparing trust tax returns and accounts
- Familiarity with legal or trust management software
- STEP qualification or working towards it (or willingness to study)

Location & Travel
- Based in Ringwood office
