Hourly Pay Range:

$37.47 – $58.08 – The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

position Highlights:

• Position: Ultrasound Technologist Senior

• Location: Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL

• Full Time, 40 hours weekly

• Hours: Rotating 8 hour shifts with varying start times: 8am, 10am or 12pm.

• Weekends: Rotating, 8-10 hour shifts with varying start times: 7am or 12pm

• Holidays: 1 – 8 hour shift per year is required

• On-Call: Voluntary back up call – not required

What you will do:

Reporting to the Director of Radiology/Imaging with accountability to the team facilitator and the team, performs ultrasound scans on patients in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis of medical disorders. Monitors patient’s condition; maintains area equipment and supplies; assists in training technologists and students.

What you will need:

• High School/General Studies Required

• Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographics required.

• Registry license, required

• Demonstrated leadership and initiative.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Proficient in operating Siemens and GE ultrasound machines and KinetDx reporting and storage system.

• 3-5 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, preferred
