Description of Responsibilities /Scope of Work
In view of the foregoing, UN Women is looking to hire a National Consultant – Programme Support for WPS and Humanitarian Action. The consultant, based in Cotabato City, will provide programme support to the WPS & HA portfolio of UN Women in the Philippines. They are expected to accomplish the following specific tasks:
- Liaise and coordinate with partners, beneficiaries and stakeholders on the preparation of administrative and logistics support to programme;
- Support specific activities in the field such as but not limited to admin backstopping and disbursement of allowances to activity participants;
- Monitor report submission of consultants and responsible partners;
- Prepare and finalize activity budgets under the guidance of responsible technical officers;
- Initiate procurement of supplies, goods and services that are necessary in programme delivery;
- Support preparation of documents necessary for travel of staff such as canvassing of travel fares, preparation of travel authority, among others;
- Process payments to vendors and consultants on a timely manner; and
- Support project closure of the WPS-ASEAN program.

Education and Certification:
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration is an asset.
Experience
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administration or programme management/support;
- Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages is required.
- Experience in the use of ERP systems, preferrable Oracle Clouse, is desirable.
- Experience in supporting a team is desirable.
Language Requirement
- Fluency in English and Filipino is required.
- Knowledge of a BARMM language/dialect is desirable.
