JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview
The Associate, Talent Acquisition, People and Culture is responsible for providing a range of administrative support to the People and Culture team’s full-cycle talent acquisition workstream. They will also gather, track, and maintain data related to the long-term health of UNF’s talent pipeline while providing meaningful support to colleagues on the People and Culture team.
This position is based in Washington, DC (Hybrid schedule).
Essential Functions
- Execute and track full-cycle recruitment administrative tasks for all positions
- Effectively identify, screen, and assess talent for members of the Talent Acquisition team and other hiring managers
- Coordinate candidate interview scheduling and reference check calls
- Initiate background screening for all final candidates
- Coordinate with colleagues on the People & Culture team to ensure a seamless transition from the talent search process to onboarding and orientation
- Assist with providing updates to hiring managers with pool building updates and important reminders related to talent acquisition
- Coordinate college and university recruitment activity schedules with supervision from the Director, Talent Acquisition
- Build and maintain an intern alumni database for future candidate pools
- Maintain a strong knowledge of UNF’s applicant tracking system and other talent acquisition-related platforms
- Maintain the Talent Acquisition intranet page with useful resources and reminders
- Other duties as assigned
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated excellence working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task and juggle many projects at once is a must
- Strong professional interpersonal skills and diplomacy
- Ability to work independently as well as member of a team
- Ability to take initiative
- Dependable and consistent
