UN Women in Bangladesh supports the government in implementing commitments to international normative standards on gender equality and women’s human rights. The UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) 2022-2026, launched in 2021, and the corresponding UN Women Bangladesh Strategic Note (SN) 2022-2026, defines UN Women’s strategic engagement in Bangladesh. The country strategy focuses on strengthening the national structures and mechanisms for gender mainstreaming in policies, plans, and budgets; supporting efforts to prevent and eliminate violence against women; promoting women’s access to decent and safe work; promoting policies and government investment in women’s empowerment and resilience building in the context of climate change, humanitarian crisis as well as other threats to peace and security. UN Women works with a range of stakeholders in Bangladesh, including the government, civil society, women’s organisations, youth, UN agencies, and donors, to promote gender equality and women’s empowerment.
Reporting to the Deputy Country Representative, the Planning, Monitoring and Reporting Analyst will provide support to the BCO and project teams incorporating monitoring and reporting into programme and project formulation as well as tracking against Strategic Plan targets, along with project targets and the reporting of results to internal and external audiences.
Description of Responsibilities :
1.Facilitate and substantively contribute to the incorporation of monitoring and reporting into programme formulation
2. Contribute substantively to the monitoring and tracking of results against country/ regional level targets and UN Women Strategic Plan

3.Facilitate the reporting of results to internal (Senior Management) and external (Executive Board, Donors) audiences
4.Provide technical support to the BCO in the implementation the UN Women Evaluation Policy
5.Contribute to knowledge building and capacity building
6.The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organisation.
