Internship Overview
First American’s Internship Program is a full-time, 10-12 week paid internship from June – August 2025 which can be worked from an office or remotely, depending on the job opportunity. As a First American Intern you will work in a program designed to help you gain experience and develop the technical, professional and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout your career. As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry – balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities – while under the guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support specific business functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Technology, Accounting and Finance.
First American is seeking a forward-thinking intern to join our Strategic Initiatives Delivery team. This role is focused on the practical Application of Artificial Intelligence to improve how we define and deliver the enterprise’s most critical strategic work.
As we work toward our 2026 North Star of becoming the organization’s go-to team for strategic initiative delivery, this position will help identify, pilot, and operationalize AI solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen quality, and enhance visibility across our portfolio. The emphasis is on measurable impact and real-world adoption, not theoretical exploration.

What You’ll Do:

• Partner with project managers and stakeholders to identify practical opportunities to apply AI to real business challenges
• Identify repetitive and time-intensive tasks and prototype AI-enabled solutions to reduce administrative effort and improve consistency
• Design and test structured prompts or custom AI assistants to support repeatable tasks such as meeting minutes, action tracking, and standardized reporting
• Evaluate results, gather feedback, and recommend refinements or next steps
• Document findings and create simple playbooks to support continued adoption after the internship
• Support additional strategic initiatives as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently enrolled in and consistently working toward completion of a Bachelor’s in Business, Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce professional content
• Analytical mindset with interest in Artificial Intelligence, automation, and applied business technology
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications; familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project tracking tools is a plus
