JOB DESCRIPTION

Task description

We are looking for 5 Online Volunteers with experience in research and strong analytical and writing skills to support the Sustainable Energy Academy in refining the content of key diagrams across its learning modules. Volunteers will contribute by providing deeper contextual insights, refining messaging, and ensuring stronger alignment with SEH’s Energy for Development approach to enhance the accuracy, depth, and clarity of the diagrams, ensuring they effectively convey the key concepts of each module. Responsibilities: Each volunteer is expected to enhance the content of 30 diagrams by analyzing relevant sources and adding a deeper layer of thinking throughout the assignment duration. – Review and analyze existing diagrams to identify gaps and areas for improvement, ensuring alignment with the energy for development approach. – Identify and gather relevant sources, including reports, academic studies, and policy papers, to enhance the diagrams with research-backed insights. – Conduct research to improve the accuracy, depth, and contextual relevance of the diagrams. – Recommend refinements by summarizing key insights, identifying missing elements, and ensuring the visuals effectively communicate complex energy concepts. Assignment requirements

Required experience

Required experience : – Strong research and analytical skills. – Background knowledge and working experience in clean energy, sustainability, environmental policy, or related fields. – Familiarity with sustainable energy, policy, governance, finance, digitalization, AI, and health sectors in global and regional contexts. – Understanding of UNDP regional structures (RBA, RBAS, RBAP, RBEC, RBLAC) and ability to categorize individuals accordingly. – A degree in a related field is considered an asset.
