Annual Salary: $40,788

• This is a Limited Duration position which has been established through a grant and is estimated to last one year or until the funding is no longer available. Limited Duration positions are full-time and receive full benefits. This position may lead to a permanent position within the agency.

This is a first-level professional position specializing in public contact work in the Missouri Division of Employment Security, Benefit Payment Control Special Investigations sub-unit. This position will work toward assisting to identify fraudulent unemployment claims, while maintaining constructive customer relationships.

What you will do:

• Process identity verification data from local job centers.
• Review and process unit mail/emails.
• Interview claimants to secure information for use in fraud investigations.
• Process tips from other units within the division and outside sources.
• Exercise independent judgment and initiative within established laws, policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate effective skip-tracing techniques by locating claimants contact information.

All you need for success:

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study

Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
