Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead development of high-quality React Native mobile applications. • Collaborate closely with UI designers, project managers and developers. • Guide all stages of the app lifecycle including planning, development and deployment. • Ensure adherence to coding standards, perform code reviews and define acceptance criteria. • Integrate mobile development with backend and web React components. • Architect mobile features with enterprise level scalability. • Maintain alignment with Agile and Scrum methodologies. • Conduct thorough testing including usability, robustness and reliability. • Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge bases. • Mentor junior developers and support team collaboration. • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications/special skills

Academic Qualifications: A university degree or master”s degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, Business Administration, Management, or other related disciplines. Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience for a bachelor”s degree and 4 year for a master”s degree in mobile app development, design, and delivery. The resource MUST have the following experience: • Senior level React Native development (5+ years). • Strong expertise in JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript, React, Redux. • Experience with REST APIs and third-party library integration. • Strong understanding of OOP and SOLID principles. • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment best practices. • Experience defining standards, conducting code reviews and guiding development teams. The resource SHOULD have the following experience: • Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on Apple App Store or Google Play • Whole life cycle app development experience as a solo developer or in a team environment • Experience with Scrum/Agile Project Management methodologies • Experience using the Atlassian stack for project management, code management, and DevOps, or equivalent tools: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket • Experience with standard CI/CD deployment tooling; specific mobile app-related best practices for CI/CD • Excellent technical documentation skills and ability to deliver specialized training • Ideally, you have worked in larger software development projects Competencies: • Teamwork: Develops and promotes effective relationships with colleagues and team members. Service Conditions: ● The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds. ● Remuneration for this consultancy will be USD 1,592.60 plus 8.33% advanced termination indemnity, depending on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience.
