How can you make a difference?

The Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) Digital Team of UNICEF Thailand is offering a structured 4 months, with a possibility of a 2-month extension for Enrolled university student (third year or above, including graduate level) or recent graduates passionate about children’s rights and eager to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation, graphic design, and performance media.

This opportunity provides exposure to real-world digital engagement work, connecting people to UNICEF’s mission through innovative storytelling, visual design, and data-driven campaigns. Digital advocacy and public campaigns.

Scope of Work

Under the supervision of the Digital Fundraising Team, the Young Professional will:

  • Assist in research and drafting digital content for fundraising campaigns.
  • Support the planning and execution of performance media campaigns, including creative ideation, A/B testing, and performance tracking.
  • Assist in copy writing for content optimization across platforms to enhance engagement and conversion rate

Duration

4 months with possibility of a 2-month extension, part-time (approximately 16-24 hours or 2-3 days per week), with flexible working arrangements to accommodate academic schedules.

Learning & Development

This programme is structured to provide a rich, hands-on learning experience, focusing on building a practical and strategic skillset vital for a career in digital marketing.

The selected Young Professional will receive hands-on coaching, mentorship, and exposure to UNICEF’s digital engagement work. They will build a portfolio of creative and strategic projects, gaining experience in both content production and performance media.

This opportunity will equip the Young Professional not only with valuable content production skills but also with a solid understanding of the digital ecosystem, performance metrics, and strategic thinking essential for success in today’s demanding digital environment.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate:

 Overall Qualifications

  • Enrolled university student (third-year, and beyond) or recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, digital media)
  • Demonstrated interest in children’s rights, development, or humanitarian work.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world projects.
  • Basic understanding of digital platforms (e.g., social media, email, websites).

Specific Qualifications:

  • Strong creative thinking and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to the mindset, interests, and behaviors of target audiences.
  • Empathy-driven approach to content creation, with sensitivity to audience needs and social impact.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Basic knowledge of content planning and audience engagement strategies.
  • Experience with writing, editing, or multimedia production (e.g., video, audio, animation) is a plus.
  • Interest in performance media and data-driven content strategies.
  • Ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences.
  • Strong communication and writing skills in Thai and English.
